The setting of the State Park, golf course and casino is remarkable. There are hiking trails everywhere around the lake. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, especially the prime rib and the BBQ ribs. We would love to come back here someday.

The less than smart security they have working at the casino entrance is awful. They said my husband was stumbling and wouldn't allow him entrance to the casino. I'm paying money to stay at your resort to have a good time. I've seen people throw up on the casino floor, but not my husband. P.s. He was drinking a Red Bull. If this place wants to have a casino, they need to understand people come here to have a good time! We have stayed here over 20 times and won't be coming here for a weekend get away EVER again!!!! People come here to unwind and relax but obviously that's NOT ALLOWED! If you want a time, go somewhere else! We have supported them since they were open, but not anymore!!!
Beautiful lake view resort! Check-in is at 4. Before 4, they'll charge you $45. So, of course, everyone waits until 4 which create a longer than normal check in timeframe. Casino small and payouts aren't frequent. Rooms are standard size with fridge and microwave. Good water pressure and clean. Multiple options for dining. Crab cakes are worth the money
It was a friendly inviting atmosphere. We were greeted at the door and upon entering, the staff was very accommodating. We met up with some friends and enjoyed socializing at the bar.
I went to the Casino and I enjoy slots. Their "Penny" slots should just be called 40 cent or 80 cent slots. They do not provide many true penny slots. Instead they force the player to bet max lines and decide just the multiplier by line. It was not enjoyable to win only 12 cents on an 80 cent bet, and forcing someone to pay 40-80 cents more a multiplier will burn through $100 very quickly.
